Atraumatic needles are firmly connected to the thread (“pressed”). This seamless transition between needle and thread minimizes tissue trauma. The atraumatic needles used in surgery must meet a wide range of requirements. We therefore offer you a wide range of needles that are suitable for many different applications. We only offer needles made of stainless steel with excellent properties to optimally meet the requirements of the surgeon.

The atraumatic needles can be divided into two categories: pocket (or channeled end) needles and drilled needles. As with our wound needles, we can offer different tips, bends and sizes.
